Correcting Protestant Myths that lead others away from Gods one true Church

There are many Protestant myths and I will post and dispell as many as possible.

Some examples are:

MYTH #3 All Christians will be Raptured before the Great Tribulation

The Rapture is false.

You want to be left behind, here is why.

St. Paul tells us that "those who are alive and who are left"

~~~~1Thess 4:16 Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord.
Jesus tells us when he returns it will be like the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot.
Who were taken first? The sinners.
Who was alive and left after the great flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? Noah and his family and lot and his family.
~~~~Luke 17:26 And as it came to pass in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat and drink, they married wives, and were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark: and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it came to pass, in the days of Lot: they did eat and drink, they bought and sold, they planted and built. 29 And in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man shall be revealed.

~~~~Matthew 24:37
And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Jesus tells us:
~~~~Matthew 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

~~~~1Corinthians 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
The last Trumpet comes well after the Tribulation Period
See Revelations 8,9 and 10
Hebrews says he will come again to bring salvation to those waiting for him....
~~~~Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

  1. The Rapture is based upon 1 Thess 4:16... whether this is pre or post millennial is debatable. Obviously, you are post... though that does not make it a myth regarding those who believe otherwise.

  2. "Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord." (‭Saint Paul 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬) This doesn't say anything about the mythological rapture. That was made up by Protestants who used this to say we'll be taken up before all Hell breaks lose on Earth when the apocalypse comes. It doesn't work that way. We have to face the apocalypse too. What Saint Paul was saying is those who are in good standing allowing themselves to survive God's judgment via the apocalypse will be granted access to Heaven. Read the Revelations of the Apocalypse to Saint John.
